<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette that prevents a tape side level difference part caught by the guide member, even if the tape side level difference part exists in a printing tape of a printing tape small reel. <P>SOLUTION: A portion of the tape side level difference part of the printing tape 6 touches the guide surfaces 21A and 23A of two guide pins 21 and 23 among guide surfaces 21A-24A of curved surfaces of four guide pins of guide members 21-24. The guide member side level difference parts 21B and 23B that are the cylindrical projections are formed to the lower end of guide surfaces 21A and 23A of two guide pins that are the guide members 21 and 23.
