<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable power supply apparatus that ensures higher safety. <P>SOLUTION: A portable power supply apparatus 10 having: a power input section connectable with an end of a power cable 11 having the other end connectable to a quick charge connector 53 of an electric vehicle 50; a DC/AC inverter 14 for DC/AC-converting and stepping down power transmitted from the electric vehicle via the power input section; and an AC 100 V outlet 15 for outputting the power DC/AC-converted and stepped down to the exterior. Further the portable power supply apparatus 10 includes: a voltage measuring unit 16 for measuring a reverse voltage reversing from the exterior to the inverter via the outlet; and an interface 19 for controlling the inverter on the basis of the reverse voltage measurement value measured by the voltage measuring unit.
