<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profile measurement apparatus for an object charged into a blast furnace, which can perform highly accurate profile measurement by a simple structure while preventing a mechanical part from being influenced by heat, high-density dust etc. in the blast furnace. <P>SOLUTION: In a profile measurement apparatus 1 installed on a top part of a blast furnace 2 to measure a profile of an object 4 charged into the blast furnace 2, a whole measurement apparatus body part 10 composed of a microwave transmitter/receiver 14 capable of transmitting/receiving microwaves, an antenna 11 for emitting a microwave, a waveguide 13 for connecting the microwave transmitter/receiver 14 to the antenna 11, a reflector 12 for reflecting the microwave emitted from the antenna 11 to the inside of the blast furnace 2, a reflector driving device 16 for driving the reflector 12, and a driving shaft 15 for connecting the reflector 12 to the reflector driving device 16, is stored in a pressure resistant vessel 9 having an aperture 21 directed to the inside of the blast furnace 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
