<p>The present invention relates to a control apparatus for a tailgate, which comprises: a communications unit performing wireless communications with a smart key; a sensor unit detecting an object within a first reference range from a tailgate of a vehicle; a drive unit operating the tailgate; and a smart key control unit performing certification on the smart key through the communications unit, receiving detected data of the sensor unit, and outputting a drive command signal to drive the tailgate through the drive unit based on the detected data. According to the present invention, as an inexpensive ultrasonic sensor is installed and detected data are just determined by a related sensor, the apparatus can be performed to be easily realized. Moreover, according to the present invention, the tailgate is opened and closed in case the smart key exists within the first reference range from the tailgate as well as the smart key is certificated. Thus, security is reinforced.</p> |
