<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily secure an address space of the memory that stores data received from an external device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a processor; a main memory to which the processor accesses; a frame memory 158 that stores the data; and a PCIe switch 152 that transmits the data received from an external device to either the processor or the frame memory 158. The PCIe switch 152 includes: an address conversion part 206 that performs address conversion between a first address space including the address space of the main memory; and a second address space including the address space of the frame memory 158; and a memory controller 201 that preserves in the frame memory 158, the input data of a prescribed size smaller than the size of frame memory 158 that is demanded writing from the external device to a prescribed address included in the first address space while shifting the prescribed size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
