<p>The present invention provides a means for shutting down a braiding machine (1) to prevent damage to a product to which the braided yarn is applied under failure conditions such as when a yarn breaks. Failure of the yarn or the tensioning of the yarn causes an imbalance in the tensioning on the product causing it to be displaced from its normal position and this displacement is detected to shut the braiding machine (1) down.</p> |
