The present invention relates to a device for testing a drilling device and a method thereof. A test wellhead is arranged on the seabed. A drilling device is latching-coupled to the test wellhead arranged on the seabed to perform various tests on drilling devices used in the deep sea such as BOP equipment under similar conditions to deep sea conditions in order to prevent and manage problems about the drilling devices, so the drilling devices are smoothly and quickly installed and operated in an actual installation site like a deep sea. An operation test of a drilling device is performed in the seabed to increase accuracy and reliability about a drilling device test. The test wellhead is coupled to a buoyancy structure to freely transfer and move the test wellhead by self buoyancy adjustment about the buoyancy structure, so the test wellhead is conveniently installed and collected without a separate transfer device.
