<p>The method involves using a client electronic transaction terminal (11) that is connected to a relay terminal (12) e.g. personal digital assistant, via a Bluetoothcommunication interface of a local personal access network (14) e.g. near field communication network. An identifier of the transaction terminal or a user associated with the communication is transmitted to set-up and/or manage communications or electronic transactions in an application server e.g. bank payment application server (13).
