<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technical means for making it easy to generate music using a phrase.SOLUTION: A retrieval key acquisition unit 221 is means for acquiring any phrase as a retrieval key F from a music terminal device 1 via a communication interface 21. A retrieval unit 222 is means for searching a music database 3 on the basis of the retrieval key F acquired by the retrieval key acquisition unit 221. In more detail, the retrieval unit 222 retrieves N pieces of music data each including a phrase Fa having nth (n=1 to N) similarity to the retrieval key F from the music database 3. The retrieval unit 222 reads out a phrase Fb subsequent to the phrase Fa having high similarity to the retrieval key F from each of the N pieces of music data. A phrase providing unit 223 is means for transmitting the N phrases Fb read out from the music database 3 by the retrieval unit 222 to the music terminal device 1 via the communication interface 21.</p> |
