METHOD OF PERFORMING DIAGNOSTIC TEST IN A SCANNER OF A PRECINCT COUNT OPTICAL SCANNER (PCOS) MACHINE USING A BALLOT WITHOUT UV MARKS

A method of performing diagnostic test in a scanner of a Precinct Count Optical Scanner (PCOS) machine using a ballot without UV marks comprising the steps of activating said PCOS machine; displaying applications from said LCD panel; selecting applications from said LCD panel; inserting tech security key to said PCOS machine to authenticate external application; encoding password to validate said external application, loading external application to said PCOS machine; inserting another security key to validate and verify functionality of scanner; inserting a ballot with UV marks to test functionality of scanner and running scanner diagnostics wherein said applications load and runs diagnostic test to scanner and said diagnostic test result may be printed for application of repair and maintenance of said PCOS machine and also for future reference.
