PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a safe and efficient charging of fuel gas.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fuel gas charging system comprising: a plurality of pressure accumulators for storing compressed fuel gas; a shutoff valve capable of shutting off supply of fuel gas from the pressure accumulators to a tank; a flow meter for detecting a flow rate of fuel gas supplied from the pressure accumulators to the tank; an adjustment valve capable of adjusting a flow rate of fuel gas supplied to the tank; a pressure gauge for detecting a pressure of fuel gas supplied to the tank; and a control device for controlling an opening or closing of the shutoff valve and the adjustment valve. The control device controls the opening or closing of the shutoff valve when a prescribed condition is fulfilled and at the same time adjusts a degree of opening of the adjustment valve.
