PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved rotor for a three-layered squirrel-cage motor, which exhibits more excellent performance.SOLUTION: A rotor 15 for a three-layered squirrel-cage motor is rotatably disposed inside a stator 8 which forms a revolving magnetic field. The rotor 15 includes: a groove 24 having three-layered housing holes 21, 22, 23 from the outside is formed on the peripheral part of the rotor 15. To the housing holes, there are inserted an outer-layer squirrel-cage conductor 25 composed of a high resistance material, a middle-layer squirrel-cage conductor 26 composed of a middle resistance material, and an inner-layer squirrel-cage conductor 27 composed of a low resistance material, respectively. Both end parts of each squirrel-cage conductor are connected with each short-circuit ring 28, 29, 30, to form three-layered squirrel-cage conductors. The housing holes 21, 22, 23 of the outer-layer squirrel-cage conductor 25, the middle-layer squirrel-cage conductor 26, and the inner-layer squirrel-cage conductor 27 are of quadrangle, respectively. |
