PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an exterior component for timepiece capable of efficiently manufacturing the exterior component for timepiece excellent in esthetic appearance by a method having a small load to environment with less waste of a material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an exterior component for timepiece includes a coating film formation process of spraying an aerosol (particles P31) composed of particles dispersed in a gas from a nozzle toward a base material P1 and forming a coating film P3 by an impact force that is generated. In a coating film formation process, the aerosol (particles P31) is sprayed by changing incident directions (D1, D2) of the aerosol (particles P31) to the base material P1.
