PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing-up type continuous casting method that can control a solidification interface within a predetermined range and is superior in dimension precision and surface quality of a casting.SOLUTION: The drawing-up type continuous casting device according to one embodiment of the present invention, which comprises: a molten metal holding furnace 101 for holding a molten metal M1; and a first shape regulating member 102 that is arranged in the vicinity of a surface of the molten metal held by the molten metal holding furnace 101 and regulates a cross section shape of a casting M3 to be casted by passing the molten metal therethrough, where a pattern P is applied on an upper face of the shape regulating member 102, further comprises: an imaging part 109 that captures images of the pattern P reflected on the held molten metal M2 passing through the first shape regulating member 102 and the casting M3 formed by solidification of the held molten metal M2 respectively; an image analysing part 110 that determines solidification interfaces from the images; and a casting control part 111 that changes casting conditions if the solidification interfaces determined by the image analysing part 110 are not within a predetermined reference range. |
