PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking utensil using microwaves, which can be brought into direct contact with a food material.SOLUTION: A cooking utensil 1 uses a plate-like heat generator 2 that generates heat by being irradiated with microwaves from a microwave source 4, and has the heat generator 2 provided at a radiating aperture 3 for the microwaves which is formed by cutting a part of a box body (a lower enclosure) 5 of a general microwave oven for instance, so as to block the radiating aperture 3. This allows the cooking utensil 1, in which the heat generator 2 is exposed to the outside (upward), to perform a general cooking work such as stirring and reversing food materials even if using the same microwave heating, unlike a general microwave oven which cannot be brought into contact with food materials during cooking. Further the heat generator 2 contains powdered coal, which prevents the heat generator from being burned down although a heat generation source is coal. The powdered coal has far infrared ray effect as much as fuel coal, which can achieve an economical charcoal grilling device and is preferable for charcoal restaurants serving grilled meat, grilled chicken and eel broiled in soy-based sauces and the like. |
