<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of improving durability of a shaft in a case where a second disk in which an outer peripheral gear for power transmission is provided or a transmission gear for power transmission connected to the second disk is supported by the shaft.SOLUTION: Since in an input shaft (shaft) 1, an oil hole 1C for supplying lubricant between the input shaft 1 and an outside disk (second disk) 3A is provided inclinedly to the axial direction of the input shaft 1, the cross sectional area of a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction of the input shaft 1 is made larger than conventional ones. Consequently, since stress generated in the oil hole 1C provided in the input shaft 1 is made lower than the conventional ones, the durability of the input shaft 1 can be improved.</p> |
