PURPOSE: A system for controlling an electric home appliance is provided to select a power source by monitoring a power generation and surplus power using a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An electricity generation sensing unit(120) senses power generation of a photovoltaic power generation system(10). A surplus power sensing unit(121) senses surplus power about the electric power system(30). If the amount of a sensed electricity generation exceeds a predetermined reference power, a control unit(100) receives a selection of a driving target home appliance(20) through a portable terminal(50). The control device transmits the command for the driving of the home electronic device to the selected home appliance driving unit(200) corresponding to the selected home electronic device.
