PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for effectively utilizing cache data which has been included in a cache module before switching, an information processing device, a cache control program and a cache control method.SOLUTION: A cache memory 214 connects to a storage module 23 and stores a part of information of the storage module 23. A cache memory 224 connects to a storage module 24 and stores a part of information of the storage module 24. A request processing unit 212 performs processing for reading or writing information from/to the storage module 23 and 24 by using the information stored in the cache memory 214 or 224. A switching management unit 26 switches connections so that the storage module 23 connects to the cache memory 224. A read control unit 216 moves the information stored in the cache memory 214 to the cache memory 224 at the time of switching by the switching management unit 26.
