PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the configuration of a conventional gas detector causes retention of gas inside a housing and thereby a gas detection speed is lowered.SOLUTION: A gas detector 1 includes: a housing 101 having a gas introduction port 102 and a gas discharge port 103; and a light emission part 104 and a light reception part 107. The light emission part 104 and the light reception part 107 include interfaces 106 and 109 with the housing 101, respectively, and are disposed so as to configure an optical path into which the light emitted from the light emission part 104 enters the light reception part 107 via a space inside the housing 101. The housing 101 has a movable partition wall part (a blade plate 110 and a brush part 111). The partition wall part carries the gas introduced into the housing 101 from the gas introduction port 102 into the optical path with the blade plate 110 making rotating operations with an axial part 112 as an axis and is operable so as to carry the gas in the optical path to the gas discharge port 103. |
