PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device capable of reducing the power consumption of the electric brake device while eliminating the influence on a brake feeling, and suppressing the abrasion of a component to which a friction force is applied.SOLUTION: An electric brake device comprises: an electric motor 2; a brake rotor; a brake member pressed against the brake rotor; a transmission mechanism for converting the rotational motion of the electric motor 2 into the operation of the brake member; and a motor control part 35. The motor control part 35 is provided with operation frequency limiting means 40. When a brake force command value given from brake force command means becomes larger, the operation frequency limiting means 40 lowers a limit frequency or reduces a response ratio which is the magnitude of a motor operation command value for a fluctuation component. |
