<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a recovery of a catheter even if an embolic agent becomes hard, while preventing a back flow of the embolic agent by a balloon.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter 10 includes: a long outer pipe 18; a long inner pipe 20 disposed inside the outer pipe 18; and a balloon 16 that is disposed at a position on the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 20 and on a base end side of a discharge port 24a, and that can be expanded in the radially outside direction of the inner pipe 20. Also, the balloon catheter 10 is provided with removal parts 40 respectively at a prescribed position of the outer pipe 18 nearer to the base end side with respect to the base end of the balloon 16, and at a prescribed position of the inner pipe 20 nearer to the base end side with respect to the top end of the balloon 16. The removal parts 40 enable removals of an outer pipe collection part 48 and an inner pipe collection part 52 from an outer pipe retention part 46 and an inner pipe retention part 50.</p> |
