PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector cleaner capable of knowing the state of the connection end surface of an optical connector.SOLUTION: An optical connector cleaner includes: a cylindrical member 13 to which an optical connector 200 is connected; a cleaner 2 that guides a cleaning thread 24 to the coupling end face 203 of an optical connector plug 201; and an optical unit 61 having an optical path 62 reaching the optical connector plug 201. The optical unit 61 includes a lens (ring lens 16) that is disposed at a position opposing the coupling end face to constitute one end of an optical system and has a missing part penetrating in an optical axis direction, and an imaging element 64 located at the other end of the optical system. Into the hollow part of the lens having the missing part penetrating in the optical axis direction, a rod-like cleaner chip 23 in which a thread passage for the cleaning thread 24 is formed is movably inserted in a longer direction.
