<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing toner with which an unfixed toner image is formed from being moved to a pressing member and accumulated on the pressing member.SOLUTION: A fixing device 40 includes heating means 402 which includes a heating element, an endless member to be heated 401 which comes into contact with the heating means 402 on the inner peripheral side thereof, to be heated, a pressure member 400 which is arranged to press a part of the member to be heated 401 and forms a nip part n between the pressure member 400 and the member to be heated 401, and a pressing member 403 which is provided in a position facing the heating means 402 across the member to be heated 401 and presses the member to be heated 401 to the side of the heating means 402 and conveys a recording material Pa carrying the unfixed toner image formed with the toner to the nip part n, to fix the unfixed toner image to the recording material Pa. The outermost layer of the pressing member 403 contains a fluoropolymer. The contact angle of the surface of the pressing member 403 with respect to silicone oil at room temperature is 30° to 50°.</p> |
