FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to hot rolling at wide-strip mills. Continuously cast billet is rolled at roughing and finishing stands. Rolled stock is subjected to laminar cooling at collecting roller table and coiling. Laminar cooling mode is selected depending on steel structure and chemical composition by aligning the rolled stock temperature variation diagram at cooling at said collecting roller table with thermo kinetic diagram. Note here that collecting roller table has two laminar cooling sections with transfer section located there between. Note also that section for water blow-off from rolled stock surface is located downstream of every laminar cooling section to perform the cooling. Whereat said rolled stock temperature variation diagram passes at alignment with thermo kinetic diagram at a spacing in time axis of at least 5 seconds from nodal points of phase transformation. Note also that said rolled stock temperature variation diagram is plotted with due allowance for heat removal conditions, rolled stock depth and rate of its transfer at all sections of collecting roller table including the section of transfer from last mill stand to the zone of primary laminar cooling, primary laminar cooling, subsequent water blow-off from soled stock surface, intermediate transfer from primary laminar cooling zone to secondary laminar cooling zone, subsequent water blow-off from rolled stock surface and transfer to reeler.EFFECT: stable mechanical properties.1 dwg
