According to one embodiment, an illuminating device comprises a base member including a first surface on which light-emitting elements are held, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a through hole connecting the first surface and the second surface to each other, an optical lens arranged to be opposed to the light-emitting elements on the first surface side of the base member, and a heat dissipation member arranged in thermal contact with the base member on the second surface side of the base member. The optical lens includes a ventilation flue configured to introduce outside air into the through hole. The heat dissipation member comes into contact with the outside air to be introduced through the ventilation flue and the through hole to carry out heat exchange, thereby radiating heat generated from the light-emitting elements. |
