Provided is an extending/retracting device for which it is possible to prevent rattling of a lower tubular part when this lower tubular part is fastened by a fastening means. A leg body (12), which is an extending/retracting device, is equipped with an upper tubular body (21), a lower tubular body (22), and a fastening means (31) that fastens the lower tubular body (22) with respect to the upper tubular body (21) in a releasable manner. The fastening means (31) has an operating body (61) and a fastening body (62). The fastening body (62) is configured with an outside member (88), an upper inside member (92), and a lower inside member (94). Inner circumferential upward-facing slanted surfaces and inner circumferential downward-facing slanted surfaces are formed in the outside member (88). Furthermore, outer circumferential downward-facing slanted surfaces are formed in the upper inside member (92), and outer circumferential upward-facing surfaces are formed in the lower inside member (94). |
