<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode manufacturing method that can avoid erroneous detection of a mark.SOLUTION: An electrode manufacturing method has an appearance investigating step of investigating coated parts G and adding an exposed portion R with a mark N for enabling identification of a coated part G having a defective portion when the defective portion exists at the coated part G. The electrode manufacturing method further has a determining step of detecting the presence or absence of the mark N by a mark detecting device 62 and determining on the basis of a detection result of the mark detecting device 62 by a control device 64 whether the coated part G is good or not. In the determining step, the control device 64 determines on the basis of only the detection result obtained for the exposed portion R by the mark detecting device 62.</p> |
