摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the calculation of the amount of reformed gas produced during executing reformation control without providing a special sensor.SOLUTION: When predetermined reformation control executing conditions are established, reformation control is executed so that a reformed fuel injection valve 35 injects reformed fuel and a fuel reforming catalyst 36 reforms the reformed fuel to produce reformed gas. During executing the reformation control, such characteristics are found that the pressure of gas on the downstream side of the fuel reforming catalyst 36 rises depending on the amount of the reformed gas produced by the fuel reforming catalyst 36 to increase a pressure difference between a pressure during executing the reformation control (an intake pressure detected by an intake pressure sensor 19 during executing the reformation control) and a pressure during stopping the reformation control (an intake pressure detected by the intake pressure sensor 19 during stopping the deformation control). Focusing on such characteristics, the amount of the reformed gas produced during executing the reformation control is calculated on the basis of the pressure difference between the pressure during executing the reformation control and the pressure during stopping the reformation control.
