An injection molding machine for which a sensor unit that detects the movement of a movable mold to a clamped position can be positioned accurately. A position detection device is equipped with a movable part (6a), which moves to a first detection position when a movable mold (31) is moved to a clamped position, and a first sensor part (6b), which detects the movable part (6a) at the first detection position. The first sensor part (6b) has a stopper (77). The movable part (6a) is positioned at the detection position and the first sensor part (6b) is moved so as to bring the stopper (77) into contact with the movable part (6a), thereby enabling the first sensor part (6b) to be positioned accurately at the position where the movable part (6a) is detected at the first detection position. |
