The invention provides a water treatment method and a water treatment device, which can efficiently treat activated sludge and inhibit blocking of a filtering membrane, and reduce the frequency of cleaning and replacement of the membrane. The water treatment device comprises a coagulating groove, a flowmeter, an organic matter concentration recogizer, a flocculant supplying device, an activated sludge treatment tank, an active sludge concentration recogizer, a membrane module and a control device. The control device compares a value of organic waste water load capacity calculated based on a measured value of the flowmeter and a measured value of the organic matter concentration recogizer, and a value of the amount of organic matter on which activated sludge treatment can be performed calculated based on the volume of treatment water in the activated sludge treatment tank, a measured value of the activated sludge concentration recogizer, and considerable allowable organic matter load capacity of activated sludge, when the value of the organic waste water load capacity is relatively large, the supply quantity of flocculant is increased, and when the value is relatively small, the supply quantity of flocculant is reduced or flocculant is stopped from being supplied. |
