<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately adjust parameters for regulating an image processing. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 11 includes: a success/failure determination section 113 for determining whether the recognition of at least one character constituting a character string fails or not; a cause estimation section 116 for estimating a cause of the recognition failure of the character when the success/failure determination section 113 determines that the recognition of at least one character constituting the character string has failed; and a process correcting section 117 for correcting at least one parameter value corresponding to the estimated cause out of a plurality of parameters for regulating the image processing, based on the cause estimated by the cause estimation section 116. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
