摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated tool exhibiting excellent impact resistance, lubricity and wear resistance even when being cut in a high speed cutting condition accompanied by high heat generation. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface coated cutting tool formed by forming a hard coated layer on the surface of a tool base body constituted of a tungsten carbide based cemented carbide and the like, the hard coated layer is constituted of (a) a lower part layer constituted of a composite nitride layer of Al and Ti having 0.5 to 5μm of average layer thickness and satisfying a composition formula: (Al<SB POS="POST">1-x</SB>Ti<SB POS="POST">x</SB>)N (wherein x denotes a Ti content ratio occupied in a total amount of Al and Ti and 0.30≤x≤0.75 in an atomic ratio) and (b) an upper part layer constituted of a composite nitride layer of Zr and V having 0.5 to 5μm average layer thickness and satisfying a composition formula: (Zr<SB POS="POST">1-a</SB>V<SB POS="POST">a</SB>)N (wherein a denotes a V content ratio occupied in a total amount of Zr and V and 0.01≤a≤0.30 in an atomic ratio). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
