Dispensers (10) for the discharge of pharmaceutical media having a liquid storage (12), a base body (22), an actuating handle (24) that can be manually displaced with respect to the base body (22) for causing a discharge process of media from the liquid storage (12) into an environment, and an electronic detection system (40, 50) for detecting discharge processes are known. The invention relates to the further development of a dispenser of this class such that the detection system (40, 50) is provided with a sensor (50), which, subject to the displacement of a reference component that is mechanically coupled to the actuating handle (24) such that during a discharge process, the reference component is displaced with respect to the base body (22), generates an output signal. The sensor (50) is configured for generating output signals of at least two distinguishable types as a function of the extent of the displacement, and is provided with an electronic calibration memory (46), in which calibration data regarding discharge behavior of the dispenser (10) are stored. Use is for error-free distinction of performed and not performed discharge processes. |
