The operation device (100) is provided with: a pilot valve (3), which has an operation part (2) and is for outputting a pilot pressure corresponding to the amount by which the operation part (2) is operated; and an electric signal-outputting unit (4) for outputting an operation amount signal corresponding to the amount by which the operation part (2) is operated. The electric signal-outputting unit (4) comprises: an operation amount detection sensor (41) for detecting the amount by which the operation part (2) is operated and outputting an operation amount detection signal (v) corresponding to said operation amount; an operation amount signal-calculating means (42) for calculating an operation amount signal (v') by converting the operation amount detection signal (v) so as to be correlated with the pilot pressure (p) output from the pilot valve (3); and an operation amount signal-outputting means (43) for outputting the calculated operation amount signal.
