Provided is a Welsh onion harvester that is capable of quickly correcting position deviation, if occurs, between Welsh onions and a harvesting section thereof. The Welsh onion harvester comprising a running machine body capable of self-running and the harvesting section for digging and harvesting Welsh onions from a ridge in which the Welsh onions have been grown, wherein the harvesting section is provided, as individual operating parts, with: a digging part for digging the Welsh onions; a conveying part for conveying backward the Welsh onions dug by the digging part; and a scraping part for scraping off soil lumps sticking to the rhizomes of the Welsh onions while the Welsh onions are conveyed by the conveying part. These operating parts are arranged in front of the running machine body on a virtual straight line that extends in the the front-back direction. In the running machine body, a riding step part on which an operator rides is formed backward the aforesaid individual operating parts and arranged on the same virtual straight line. |
