The invention provides a Chinese display device and a Chinese display method. In the Chinese display device, Chinese characters and affiliated information thereof (note/kana, okurigana/phonetic sequence symbol/period or pause mark) which constitute Chinese are stored corresponding to Chinese characters; while displaying a Chinese text, the Chinese characters and the affiliated information thereof are displayed according to display setting data (displayed/not displayed) of the Chinese characters and the affiliated information thereof; and when a user designates any of the displayed Chinese characters or affiliated information, a mark is attached to the designated Chinese character or affiliated information and is displayed. |
