<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a shoulder rest or a headrest to be firmly attached to a backrest with a good appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The shoulder rest has foot sections facing downward. The backrest has a back frame, and a back plate superposed with the back frame from the front side. The back plate is freely detachable from the back frame, and the foot section of the shoulder rest can be attached to or removed from the upper frame 9 of the back frame by removing the back plate. The foot section is excellent in appearance because the foot section is hidden in the backrest.
