<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet roll manufacturing method that excels in preventability in ply separation, in bouncing and biased contact, and in formation of rib-shaped part when a roll is formed and that also excels in abrasiveness in edge embossed rolls.SOLUTION: Embossed rows in which unit embossment is arrayed with fixed spaces in a rotating direction are arranged in 2-5 rows in a width direction parallel to the rotary axis direction. The unit embossment has, in the front side in the rotating direction, a 0.3-0.7 mm side parallel to the width direction, with the top surface area of 0.035-0.49 mm, and with the top surface area ratio of the unit embossment 2-6%. In the toilet roll manufacturing method, an edge embossment is provided by an embossing roll in which a set of unit embossments closest in the rotating direction of the unit embossment in the leftmost row and the rightmost row in the width direction is arranged in a partly superimposed manner in the rotating direction.</p> |
