<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage tank which can detect a remaining amount of ink in an ink tank with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A position of a flexible film 3 is restricted so that the flexible film 3 for defining an ink storage chamber 7 protrudes and deforms in a direction opposite to a negative pressure even when the negative pressure is generated in the ink storage chamber 7 in conjunction with ink consumption. Thereby, even when the entire flexible film 3 tilts a little by an effect of gravity or the like, an optical path L for detecting a remaining amount can be prevented from being blocked as compared with a conventional example, and erroneous determination can be suppressed.</p> |
