COMPOSITION AND METHOD TO ALLEVIATE JOINT PAIN USING ALGAE BASED OILS

A dietary supplement composition is formulated in a therapeutic amount to treat and alleviate symptoms of joint pain in a patient. The composition includes an algae based oil having glycolipids and phospholipids and Eicosapentaenoic (EPA) fatty acids in combination with astaxanthin and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid or sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronan) having a molecular weight between 0.5 and 300 kilodaltons (kDa) in an oral dosage form.
