PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adverse action of a portable telephone terminal due to contact with a touch panel during telephone conversation, without limiting the functions available during telephone conversation.SOLUTION: A portable telephone terminal includes a touch panel 104, determination means 201, a camera, detection means 202, and control means 203. The touch panel 104 is a device used for inputting information. The determination means 201 includes a function for determining whether it is during telephone conversation or not. The detection means 202 is provided separately from the camera, and includes a configuration for outputting waves, and detecting reception of the waves as approach of an object. The control means 203 includes a function for switching the operation of the touch panel between valid and invalid. During telephone conversation, the detection means 202 performs detecting operation, and the control means 203 disables the operation for the touch panel 104, when detecting approach of an object based on the detection results. |
