This device is an information processing device that enables a user to accurately designate a desired region on a display screen using a simple operation. The information processing device comprises: a touch detection unit that detects the presence of a first touch and a second touch on a touch panel; a position change detection unit that detects a change in the position of the first touch and the second touch; and an estimation unit that, if the position change detection unit detects a change in the position of the first touch but does not detect a change in the position of the second touch, estimates that the change in position of the first touch is for setting the designated region in a screen displayed on the touch panel.
