A fault tolerant method and apparatus for a tempo sound and a user operation belong to the field of Internet technologies. The method includes: acquiring a tempo sound playback time corresponding to a to-be-generated level object; acquiring a current movement speed of a user character; determining a generation time of the to-be-generated level object according to the tempo sound playback time corresponding to the to-be-generated level object and the current movement speed; generating the to-be-generated level object at the determined generation time; and playing, when the user character arrives at the to-be-generated level object and a user operation is executed, a tempo sound corresponding to the to-be-generated level object. The apparatus includes: a first acquiring module, a second acquiring module, a determining module, and a generating module. |
