<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide welding equipment that can exactly weld small-to-medium-to-large bore piping with high accuracy and has a favorable handling convenience.SOLUTION: The welding equipment comprises: an annular base portion 2 fixed to the outer periphery of a cylindrical welding object; a gear train mechanism 25 having a plurality of annular gear trains 23 having a plurality of first gears 21 and second gears 22 which are arranged annularly along the base portion 2 and which mesh with each other alternately; an arc-shaped swivel gear having internal teeth meshed with the first gears of any one of the annular gear trains; a swivel base 5 which is fixed to the swivel gear and is movable in the circumferential direction of the base portion 2 and supports a weld head; an arc-shaped reciprocation gear 33 which is held by the swivel base so as to freely reciprocate and has internal teeth 31 and external teeth meshed with the first gears of the other one of the annular gear trains; a power transmission gear 35 which is held by the swivel base and meshed with the external teeth 32 of the reciprocation gear to thereby transmit power to the weld head; and a plurality of electric motors individually generating driving force transmitted to the respective first gears of the annular gear trains.</p> |
