<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing oxide powder having a perovskite structure and containing an alkaline earth metal and a group 4 element, by which variation in primary particle size of powder after being calcined is reduced.SOLUTION: The method for producing oxide powder having a perovskite structure and containing an alkaline earth metal and a group 4 element is provided that comprises: preparing a starting material including powder of an alkaline earth metal carbonate containing citric acid and powder of an oxide of a group 4 element and also preparing a first additive which is at least one organic acid selected from organic acid A having a carbon atom main chain and a pair of a carboxylic acid, organic acid B which is an anhydride of organic acid A, and organic acid C which is a polymer or a copolymer containing at least one of organic acid A and organic acid C; measuring the number of moles of eluted alkaline earth metal in a first ware-borne slurry containing the alkaline earth metal carbonate powder; preparing a second ware-borne slurry containing the starting material and the first additive which is added to the second ware-borne slurry so that a ratio of the number of carboxylic groups in water to the number of moles of eluted alkaline earth metal becomes 2 to 10; obtaining mixed powder of the starting material by drying the second ware-borne slurry; and calcining the mixed powder of the starting material.</p> |
