A merchandise dispensing device (1) provided in the lower section of a plurality of merchandise housing paths (13) comprises: dispensing mechanisms (20) that, in a standby state, restrict downward movement of merchandise and, when driven, dispense merchandise; a rotating plate (42) rotatably arranged in the merchandise housing paths (13); link members (50) connected to a corresponding dispensing mechanism (20) via a wire cable (WC) and swingably arranged in a radial outer area of the rotating plate (42); and a hook member (60) rotatably arranged in the radial outer area of the rotating plate (42), in a state in which a hook tip section (62) can advance and retreat. When the rotating plate (42) rotates in one direction and the hook tip section (62) comes in contact with a link member (50), the hook tip section (62) shakes the link member (50) and places same in a dispensing posture. When the rotating plate (42) rotates in the other direction and the hook tip section (62) comes in contact with a link member (50), the hook tip section (62) retreats from the radial outer area. |
