<p>The present invention relates to the technical field of edge bands, in particular to an edge band with a hot melt adhesive, and an edge banding board; and the edge band comprises a substrate layer and a hot melt adhesive layer configured on the surface of the substrate 5 layer, wherein the substrate layer is adhered onto a board to be subjected to edge banding through the hot melt adhesive layer which is molten under the condition of hot air, or infrared rays or laser. According to the present invention, the hot melt adhesive layer has high adhesive force and thus avoids a degumming phenomenon. The edge banding can be carried out by melting the hot melt adhesive layer with hot air, or infrared rays or laser, and 10 the edge band can be seamlessly connected with the board to be subjected to edge banding, such as a medium density fiberboard, a shaving board, plywood or other artificial boards without the need of coating the hot melt adhesive, so that a production procedure of coating the hot melt adhesive is not required; the product quality and the production efficiency are greatly improved, and the production cost and the application cost are reduced; and the 15 edge band and the edge banding board are more applicable to industrial production and use.</p> |
