PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dedicated container that prevents a leak of radiation from a radiation contaminated material contained in the container to the outside and is capable of transporting and storing the radiation contaminated material safely.SOLUTION: A radiation-shielding container 1 for containing, transporting, and storing a radiation contaminated material comprises: a container body formed by putting a radiation-shielding material that is a mixed material of tungsten powders, a silicone resin prepolymer, and a silane coupling agent that are fused into a gap between an outer case 3a and an inner case 3b that are made of steel and by solidifying the radiation-shielding material; and a lid 2 formed like a sandwiched manner by holding a plate-like body 2c of the solidified radiation-shielding material between an upper steel plate and a lower steel plate.
