<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation inspection device having a reduced footprint (a free space). <P>SOLUTION: The radiation inspection apparatus detects radiation radiated from a radiation source and transmitting through a sheet-like sample, by a line radiation detector disposed so as to be orthogonal to the flowing direction of the sample, and measures a basis weight. The radiation source and the radiation sensor are slightly retreated orthogonally to the width of the sample, with their positional relationship retained in a measurement state, so as to measure an air layer. In the retreated state, the air layer between the radiation source and the radiation sensor is measured to create correction data and the correction data are stored in storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
