A method and a related device for remotely controlling a smart television are disclosed in embodiments of the present disclosure. The method includes: a server obtains a broadcasting task customized by a user, and the broadcasting task at least includes a broadcasting source; then the server obtains a broadcasting command corresponding to the broadcasting task, and sends the broadcasting command to a smart television corresponding to the broadcasting task; and after receiving the broadcasting command, the smart television obtains a source file corresponding to the broadcasting source, and broadcasts the source file. Finally, a user remotely controls the smart television to broadcast specified programs at specified time. |
